Here's a link to the Decentra Daily community wallet. It contains a selection of art, NFT passes, and tokens from a few of the projects we've previously covered in this email.

Why are we investing in web3 projects?

We want to show up for the creators and founders we feature in our newsletter. By investing in their work, we hope to help them grow and stay connected.

For those new to web3, we invite you to poke around the wallet and use it to explore some NFT projects. (We invest, so you don't have to!)

And, we'll be handing out NFTs from our wallet to subscribers in our periodic giveaways...

Let's take a look at some of our NFTs and the projects that made them.

nft.whale – from Grassverse

What is this NFT?

It's a Whale! From Decentra Daily's home, British Columbia. 🇨🇦

This NFT gives us access to The Grassverse, a thought-leader community. It also lets us sell our own photo in the GV ecosystem (what subject should we 📸?)

What's the project?

Grassverse is a place where the NFT community can connect, talk, and “touch grass.” Members share their web3 knowledge and experience, as well as some awesome photography.

In the spirit of their thoughtful commentary on web3, we collaborated with Grassverse on an email about the pros and cons of NFT royalties.

Ada Lovelace – from Lost Poets

What is this NFT?

This is an artwork from Pak, a renowned digital artist. We named her Ada Lovelace, after the mathematician and foremother of programming.

What's the Project?

Ada was created as part of Pak's latest project, Lost Poets.

It's a multi-stage strategy game based on a trippy Borges' short story called "Library of Babel," where a vast library contains books with every possible combination of letters.

In the game, NFTs shift and change, with "poets" slowly acquiring faces, names, and words.

In our last email on Pak and Lost Poets, we broke down how the game works, and what's made Pak so famous in the world of NFTs.

Identity #4817 – from Inhabitants

What is this NFT?

This is a "pulse-impacted person" from the Inhabitants Universe – they don't look like they should be messed with!

In this universe, a mysterious pulse affected "the fabric of our solar system," causing some people to transform into powerful beings with different powers.

What's the Project?

Pixel Vault is the web3 company behind Inhabitants, as well as the connected comic book universe PUNKs.

They're busy building comics and games set within their narrative worlds, then unlocking the IP for fans and collectors to own.

If you've been following Decentra Daily, you might have seen the Pixel Vault character Wiggles popping up from time to time...

We'll also be talking with Pixel vault's VP of Gaming on Friday's Twitter Spaces.

Genesis membership token – from ZenAcademy

What is this NFT?

It's a letter from Zeneca, the founder of ZenAcademy.

It acts as a lifetime membership to ZenAcademy, helps support the building of the project, and contains a good-faith "pledge" from Zeneca.

What's the project?

ZenAcademy is an education-based platform for "anyone, anywhere, at any level to learn about NFTs & Web3."

As a reaction to the promotional atmosphere of some NFT forums, ZenAcademy aims to be a safe space for learning, sharing, and building. The project also has a more exclusive club for core community members.

BTC Keys – from My Curio Cards

What is this NFT?

This is one of 30 Curio Cards containing artwork from Cryptograffiti – a digital artist and "bitcoin activist" who often repurposes banking materials to help spread the word about the crypto revolution.

What's the project?

Curio Cards are some of the first-ever Ethereum NFTs used to represent art, instead of games or collectibles.

The 30 unique cards from seven different artists were launched in May 2017, pre-dating CryptoPunks.

Curio Cards were also referenced in the development of the original ERC-721 Token Standard.

Our wallet also contains cards 2 and 10!

#4911 – from Knights of Degen

What is this NFT?

It's a very chill-looking pfp (profile picture) from Knights of Degen.

It's one of 8,888 "degenerate gamblers," who live in the "Degen Sports Bar," putting wagers on every game, match, or series they lay eyes on.

What's the project?

Knights of Degen is a web3 sports platform for people with dual interests in NFTs, sports, and sports betting. They created the first ever on-chain March Madness challenge.

Alongside the usual online community features, KoD members get invites to in-person events such as Super Bowl parties and pro-athlete meets.
