2. Solana wallet provider compromised
This wasn't a hack of the Solana blockchain, however Slope mobile wallet was compromised.
Solana hack - looks like the Slope wallet sent plaintext seed phrases to external integration partners.
Compromised Phantom wallets came from seed phrase imports used in Slope. Compromised ETH wallets were also from seed phrase reuse.
Not a blockchain or randomness issue.

Over $4 million in Solana (SOL) tokens were taken from >9,000 wallets.
Some Phantom wallets were compromised if they had a seed phrase that was created using Slope wallet.
Slope acknowledged they had a security flaw, but are waiting on an audit of what actually happened, and if they are at fault.
3. Magic Eden wants all of your Apes
Magic Eden, a Solana-centric NFT marketplace that is integrating ETH NFTs, has proposed building an ApeCoin marketplace, solely for Bored Ape NFTs.
🧵/ gm apes.
Heard you’re looking for a marketplace.
We think we can help 🪄Here's our vision for the best marketplace for apes by apes, powered by $APE on the @apecoin domain, with rewards back to the community 👇🏼

If approved the marketplace could offer fees as low as 0.75% (OpenSea currently has 2.5%)
They will build the ApeCoin marketplace for free, with no upfront cost to the BAYC ecosystem/ApeCoin DAO.
Marketplace would feature ETH and $APE bidding.
A proposal will be submitted to ApeCoin DAO for approval in the next 3-4 weeks.
4. Gucci announce accepting $APE
Gucci also wants in on $APE:
Gucci is expanding the list of cryptocurrencies it supports and now accepts. The Italian fashion brand has announced that the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) token would be accepted as payment at some of its locations in U.S.-based boutiques.

Every man and his dog seemingly has a .eth address. OpenSea decided to purchase theirs, spending 99ETH ($163,000 USD) on opensea.eth

It was listed at 1,000 ETH and reduced to 99 ETH, then OpenSea pounced!
