Wolf Game has one of the strongest communities in the NFT space.

The team is extremely active on Twitter, especially The Shepherd ('Shep'), who provides many teasers and posts that incite speculation.

As such, we thought it would be fun to hypothesize the meanings of these Tweets for Wolf Game and what they mean for NFT holders. We have taken the best conclusions from the Wolf Game Twitter community, as well as including our own thoughts.

Unraveling Wolf Game Tweets - August 2022

This first tweet in August gives insight into how Wolf Game will work. It will likely mean that both big and small wallets will do well in the game and time will be valuable. Possible meanings:

• Productivity boosts for quicker harvesting

• Renting/leasing system to put your assets to work more (passive earning)

• Different game modes where strategy > hours spent playing

This tweet appears to incorporate different types of games. It looks like Settlers of Catan, Pokemon, and a variation of cup and ball. Wolf Game could have different game modes involving:

• "Gamble" assets for bigger prizes (Squid Game -> High Risk/Reward) // Active Gameplay

• Strategize & Decision making (Catan -> Average Risk/Reward) // Mixed

• Accumulate & Trade (Pokémon -> Low Risk, safer) // Passive

• Lands will have a variety of resources

• Earning WOOL may take a community effort

• Partnerships may need to be formed to earn higher amounts of WOOL. Will adjacent lands come into play? Or landowners be able to choose their allies?

• WOOL could act as a governance token to make decisions such as what crops to grow, what to build, or policies to govern your 'collective'

• Farmers could protect sheep during breeding (from wolves)

• Land and barns are likely necessary to breed

• What are the implications of not having a farmer to protect your flock? Stealing of sheep? Adding a risk/reward element to breeding

• WOOL will have many use cases which may include purchasing of the following: barns, corn, wheat, lumber, tools, breeding, building of structures (e.g., fences), fish, water, fertilizer

• Alpha Game will come to a close before the full game release, where WOOL winnings will be pouched (much of the earned WOOL will be dripped)

• Every player that has been playing Alpha Game will receive a WOOL pouch based on assets staked - if your team does well you will likely receive even more WOOL

• Farmers are going to be able to patrol their lands....will players be able to control them? Or choose their patrol routes to ward off wolves?

• Breeding will require pairs of sheep, as well as WOOL....Tinder for Wolf Game anyone?

• Different barns may have different breeding times (this barn looks shitty, needs an upgrade)

• Could the amount of WOOL paid also factor into breeding time?

• Another valuable resource revealed...Plums! This is community inspired, as they have made plenty of memes about their "plums"....Wolf Game devs are definitely in touch with the community

• Sheep will be able to collect plums, but only a select group of wolves will cause them fear...pictured is an A5 wolf

• Sheep may be able to produce additional resources outside of WOOL

• Wolf Game with have different weather...with sunshine, rain, and clouds (perhaps wind too)

• Weather will likely have an effect on multiple aspects of Wolf Game.....looks like rain jacket farmers will have a leg up in bad weather!

• Confirmed: Water is going to be a valuable resource

• Wolves are watching when the sheep go down to collect it...better have a farmer nearby to protect them

• Water will have restorative properties...this could mean many things. Will animals need it to keep their energy levels up? Will lands need it to produce fertile crops? All we know is if your land is revealed with water on it you'll likely be in a great spot!
