New wallets and marketplaces on the block…chain

Christie’s 3.0

Christie’s 3.0 is a new marketplace from the luxury auction house that’s seen some of the highest-selling NFT projects pass through its doors over the last couple years.

The new on-chain platform will continue Christie’s focus on high-end art and collectibles. Except now, “all transactions, including post-sale processing, will be automated and on-chain.” The marketplace supports all major wallets.

Among the first collections to be listed on Christie's 3.0 will be nine NFTs by Diana Sinclair, an 18-year-old who’s already had success with her million-dollar Whitney Houston NFT. Man, I feel old.

Robinhood web3 wallet

Robinhood Wallet is a new Polygon-based self-custody wallet from the trading app that’s currently in Beta with its first 10,000 iPhone users.

According to the company, users will be able to trade over 20 cryptocurrencies without fees, as well as integrating with dapps.

But, planned support for an NFT gallery and NFT marketplace integration isn’t yet live – which makes calling it a “web3 wallet” a bit of a stretch?

New Metamask UI

Also in Beta is Metamask’s new Portfolio Dapp.

Available on both the extension and the mobile app, Portfolio is an easy-to-use interface that lets you see all your crypto and NFTs across the most popular chains.

You can also link and track multiple wallets and Metamask accounts, including offline and hardware wallets. An address watchlist lets you quickly see friends’ activity, too.

Portfolio Dapp comes in response to longstanding community requests for a single place where users can see all their on-chain assets.

E.g. those who live in poverty typically have to struggle with trade-offs continually.
