Ethereum successfully completes Sepolia merge

Ethereum completed a major milestone today, with the public test network Sepolia moving to proof of stake

Sepolia is the second of three test networks to move to proof of stake. On a group call Ethereum developers acknowledged there was a minor block producer issue, but it does not appear this posed a significant problem.

Next, a review will be undertaken of the Spolia merge, and then ideally there will be the final test, which is the Goerli testnet merge.

There is no official timelines on when the final merge test will take place, however if Goerli is successful then the Mainnet merge should follow soon after.

The move to proof of stake will make Ethereum dramatically more efficient in the amount of energy it uses. Something which is seemingly holding Ethereum back in terms of scalability.

So, here's to hoping the Sepolia review goes well, and we can move onto the Goerli merge, and maybe we'll get the Mainnet merge by the end of the summer!

The number of Ethereum addresses holding at least 1 ETH just hit an all time high! Maybe we should let the price know this.

We've been tracking high ROI wallets, here’s what they have been purchasing recently. We do not recommend buying these projects, DYOR, as you could likely be someone’s exit liquidity.

Here's what they're buying today:

First ever project created on the ERC-5050 protocol, which allows a 50:50 shot at either paying full price or getting a free mint. A true degen protocol! A meme project based on the “everything is fine” while the room is burning meme.

A kinda weird abstract art project, they have 3 main characters being a vase, a piece of bread, and a TV. Each NFT is a picasso-esque version of one of these 3 characters. Weird but looks kinda cool in practice.
