Decentra Daily is releasing its first-ever NFT. 🍻👏🎈

It's called the Decentra Daily Genesis Media Pass.

This limited edition NFT will only have 1,000 pieces, with a portion being minted to friends of the newsletter in the next two weeks, and the rest through future subscription referrals.

What is the Genesis Media Pass? 🤔

The Genesis Media Pass is a unique Ethereum NFT that will grant holders exclusive access to a range of benefits and utility cases.

Here are some of the use cases we're building for our Genesis Media Pass:

• Decentra Daily airdrops: eligible to receive airdrops and claims from Decentra Daily, and our partner artists (including exclusive artwork).

• Discounts on services and products: receive discounts on products and services promoted by Decentra Daily and its partners.

• Allowlists for partner projects: exclusive access to Decentra Daily partner projects.

• Access token-gated content: join the Bullpen – Decentra Daily's private Discord – where you can meet the DD team and other Pass holders, plus find expert analysis that's not in our newsletter roundup.

• Access the Decentra Daily guild: Genesis Media Pass holders can access Decentra Daily gaming assets at free or discount rates, letting them play popular web3 games inc. Pixel Vault, Wolf Game, Voxies, Otherside, etc.*

• The Genesis Media Pass will be available to mint for allowlist members from early April (TBC by Wiggles/Decentra Daily Twitter)

• The mint window will be open indefinitely

New Polygon and Immutable partnership 🤝

Polygon and Immutable have joined forces to make it simple for game developers to integrate the blockchain into their games.

Immutable will use Polygon's zero-knowledge to create functionality for game devs so that they don't have to worry about creating smart contracts.

Microsoft gaming marketplace 🛒

Microsoft wants to make its own mobile games app store. It looks like the company is anticipating a ruling in the EU, which could force Apple and Google to support 3rd party marketplaces on their devices.

If that goes through – plus Microsoft's huge acquisition of Activision Blizzard – the gaming store could launch as soon as next year.

PlayStation NFTs 🎮

We covered this story when Sony filed a similar patent – but the gaming giant's latest application confirms their web3 intentions.

This patent allows the tokenization of assets in PlayStation games, meaning gamers could move items between games and consoles.

So, you could switch from PlayStation to PC and keep your virtual stuff – and maybe even trade it with other players.

Netflix cloud gaming platform ☁️

If you have a Netflix account and haven't tried their gaming app yet, you're missing out! Netflix has already invested in some cult classics like Kentucky Route Zero and OXENFREE.

The streaming app is slowly building out its gaming offerings – including making gameplay seamless across devices through a cloud platform. But no word on any launch date yet.
