Cardano is opening a hospital in Wyoming
If you're anything like me, being a web3 degen has taken a deep, deep toll on your health.

The good news is that, from February, you can check yourself into the Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic for some rest and recuperation.
It's a new facility opened by Cardano co-founder and CEO Charles Hoskinson.
Next Month, open for business

The Cardano kingpin's new joint has a focus on preventative medicine and will accept $ADA (the native token of the Cardano ecosystem) as payment for medical services.
What is Cardano?
Cardano is a public blockchain with a focus on real-world applications
$ADA is the native token of the ecosystem
One Cardano use case is improving healthcare data storage
According to their website, the clinic offers everything from primary care to nutritional advice β including "longevity" medicine.
Yup. Not only is Hoskinson gonna make you rich with $ADA, he's gonna help you live longer, too.
The clinic isn't Hoskinson's first foray into IRL businesses. Last year, he announced plans to open up a restaurant and whisky bar called Nessie's that also accepts ADA as payment.
Coming soon to Wheatland, Wyoming

So, thanks to Cardano, you can go from chowing down on whisky and ribs β‘οΈ to getting your heart restarted at the clinic β‘οΈ then back to redlining your cholesterol. It's the circle of life.

Microsoft is in talks to buy OpenAI's ChatGPT
Microsoft is in talks with OpenAI over a possible $10 billion acquisition.
OpenAI is the silicon valley company that every man and his Boston Dynamics dog is talking about right now β thanks to their free, highly accessible, and OpenAI-ly terrifying chatbot, ChatGPT.
(and their AI image creation tool, Dall-E.)

According to Semafor, Microsoft is ready to become OpenAI's largest stakeholder and wants 75% of OpenAIβs income until it has recovered its initial investment
β Microsoft has already lent the company a casual $1 billion in investments and use of its Azure cloud computing service.
The deal also has a bunch of fine print to help Open AI maintain its (semi) open-source status:
Microsoft would get a 49% stake
Other investors would split 49%
2% goes to OpenAIβs non-profit parent
Fortune says the deal could be done by end of Jan
So what will Microsoft do with OpenAI's tech?
They could:
Take on Google with a new, language-model centered search engine
Incorporate ChatGPT into Office software to give Clippy a much-needed break
Put their cloud services at the center of the AI revolution
The real AI winner: Microsoft
- $1bn in OpenAI (2019)
- Owns GitHub which released Copilot
- Dalle powers Bing Image Creator
- Valle which produces an AI voice from 3s of input
- GPT in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
- GPT-powered Bing
- $10bn, 49% stake in OpenAI + 75% profitβ Ben Tossell (@bentossell)
