Popular NFT collections pumped this week
See all that green in the daily top-5 volume above? Hell yeah baby.
Over the last few days, several NFT collections have shown strong sales volumes and increasing floor prices.
So what's doing well this week? Here are some of the projects trending right now.

#1 - The usual suspects
Yuga Labs NFTs, CryptoPunks, and Azuki all maintain strong positions into 2023.
They dominate daily sales – with Mutant Apes and the Bored Ape Kennel Club both pumping ahead of the latest Yuga mint, scheduled for Jan 18.
What's the project(s)?
CryptoPunks are the OG pfp NFTs, now hung next to Warhol in art museums
The Bored Ape Yacht Club is home to the most iconic NFT ecosystem
Mutant Apes live in the sewer below the yacht club
Hand-drawn Azuki avatars grant holders access to The Garden
How are they doing?
All three Yuga collections are in the top 5 for 24hr sales volume – While the Azuki floor has risen from around 13.5 ETH to over 16.5 ETH:

#2 - Goblintown
Originally a free mint, Goblintown captured whatever indefinable cocktail turns a bunch of JPEGs with zero utility into a highly profitable investment.
At its peak in June, the Goblintown floor was 7.35 ETH. 🤩
What's the project?
As Goblintown's creators clearly state, there's "No roadmap. No Discord. No utility. CC0."
"Goblin mode" was the Oxford Dictionary's 2022 word of the year. Related?
How's it doing?
Goblintown NFTs are changing hands by the hundreds right now, pushing the collection to the top of OpenSea's trending list (at time of writing).

At one point yesterday, its floor had more than doubled, before falling back to 0.99 ETH at the time of writing.

#3 - The Plague NFT
The plague of frogs that makes up The Plague NFT offers holders a chance to be part of a popular collection with an active community – for a much lower price than projects from the big NFT studios.
What's the project?
The plague is an NFT pfp collection designed in a climate of rug pulls, overblown hype, and sus roadmaps...
Its creator is on a mission to reestablish decentralization in an NFT market that quickly priced out many collectors
How's it doing?
The Plague NFTs reached their ATH floor price yesterday, at 0.8 ETH!

#4 - Hot Mess
Digital artist Jake The Degen dropped an open edition yesterday.
It's called PSA and 1116 sold for .33ETH in 2 minutes. Dang.

Jake's NFTs are part of an interconnected ecosystem, which saw his HOT MESS collection also trending on OpenSea. Neat tokenomics here.
What's the project?
HOT MESS is "a reward collection for degen token holders"
Owners of Jake's community Degen Token are airdropped artworks on specific dates
WAGMI vibes to start 2023!

Decentra Daily is brought to you by Sorare

"Oooh look at me, I'm into NFTs, I don't have a girlfriend and make passive income by collecting digital sports cards to build fantasy teams. Blah blah."
Haaland might be a goal-scoring robot, but he doesn't know s*** about NFTs. 🤖 ⚽️
Sorare fantasy sports leagues have 260,000 monthly active players, so you definitely don't need to be a basement-dwelling degen to join in.
And, Sorare now has official soccer, NBA, and MLB fantasy trading games, which means there's no excuse for not putting your sports knowledge to work.
How does Sorare work?
Collect officially licensed digital Cards from the fan marketplace
Build lineups and enter weekly fantasy contests based on IRL player performances
Rise up the rankings and earn rewards
Why haven't I started playing Sorare yet?
I don't know dude! Go! Check it out. We'll finish the newsletter when you're done.

Shopify merchants can sell NFTs to wallet-less customers
Shopify has expanded its NFTs integration with a "no wallet needed" feature.
The eCommerce builder now lets its millions of merchants list NFTs from Polygon and Avalanche blockchains directly through their storefronts.
– without needing to direct customers to OpenSea or other marketplaces.
And the best part?
Buyers don't even need a crypto wallet.
You can pay with a credit card and receive an email with a link to your asset in a newly-created blockchain wallet. Cool, right?
Shopify owners can also earn royalties on secondary transactions through the Venly Market app.
What you need to know:
The latest Shopify integration is developed by Venly, a chain software startup
Shopify began supporting Polygon NFTs 2021 and will host Immutable X NFTs soon
Shopify says they only want to consider low- or no gas protocols
With this feature, NFT artists can grow social followings & link directly to their storefronts
This is the latest NFT feature from Shopify. Previously, they added functionality allowing store owners to NFT gate sections of their site, after originally testing onsite NFT sales in a partnership with the Chicago Bulls.
Key takeaway? It's another move by a mainstream platform to embrace digital collectibles – whilst making onboarding as easy as possible.
B-Bye!
